Analysis: Lockport pays $3.57 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lockport Township FPD Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.1 percent of the $3,961,381 the Lockport Township FPD Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.57 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lockport contributed $3,094,587 to the fund, which saw a $325,144 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $866,043, or 21.9 percent, in 2018. Another $751 came from other unspecified sources.
