The intersection of Chicago Street and Clinton has been reopened, and the bituminous surface patching is complete. Concrete foundations have been poured for the gathering area seating structure and the north fountain structure in the new square.

For the week of June 30th, electrical work will continue within the City Square area. Brick pavers are expected to be placed in streetscape areas from Jefferson Street north to Clinton. Sidewalk replacements along the north side of Clinton Street at the Chicago Street intersection are planned. Pedestrian crosswalks and access to businesses will remain open.

Chicago Street, between Clinton and Cass Streets, will stay closed to traffic for planter curb and sidewalk placements. Daytime parking on Chicago Street, between Jefferson Street and Clinton, is restricted from 6 AM to 6 PM for ongoing construction activities.
