A. CALL TO ORDER

Meeting was called to order at 9:32 AM by President Suzanne Hart

B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Commissioner Fricilone led the Pledge of Allegiance.

C. INVOCATION

President Hart introduced Commissioner Brooks, Pastor of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Joliet, to deliver the invocation.

V. COMMENTS BY CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chief Operating Officer Schultz presented upcoming events to the Commissioners:

 Hummingbird Festival at Plum Creek Nature Center at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve, Saturday, August 18, 2018, 1-5 PM.

 Rock the Woods Summer Concerts with Food Trucks at Lower Rock Run Preserve, August 31, 2018, 6-9 PM.

Commissioner Moustis inquired about a correspondence he received by the Will County Audubon Society regarding the Forest Preserve to delay mowing in areas that milkweed grows till after August 15th for Monarch Butterfly Conservation. Chief Schultz will be meeting with the Will County Audubon Society Board of Directors. He also reviewed the Forest Preserves current conservation efforts and mowing practices.

President Hart appointed Donna Theimer for a two (2) year term as new Board

Member to The Nature Foundation of Will County.
