The City of Joliet Public Assets Committee is set to convene on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 4:30 PM. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of Joliet City Hall, situated at 150 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois. Those unable to attend can send comments via email to publiccomment@joliet.gov.
The agenda for the meeting includes several items for discussion and decision-making. Among these are the approval of minutes from the February 25, 2025 meeting and a resolution accepting a sponsorship agreement with Pabst Brewing Company, LLC. Additionally, there will be a resolution authorizing a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Joliet and Joliet Community Baseball and Entertainment LLC regarding field netting at Slammers Stadium.
Updates concerning the Slammers and the local museum are also slated for discussion. As is customary, there will be opportunities for public comment both on agenda items and other matters not included in the agenda. Participants are allowed up to four minutes each to speak but should note that this time is not intended as a question-and-answer session. The City Clerk holds copies of public speaking procedures.
