On Saturday, May 3rd, the Village of Crete Animal Control hosted its annual animal vaccination event at the Crete Emergency Management Facility. The event provided pet owners with quick drive-thru care.
In collaboration with VCA Forest South Animal Hospital, the event offered discounted vaccines such as rabies, distemper, Bordetella, flu, and Lyme. Free microchipping was also available for pet owners from Crete and nearby areas.
The drive-through format allowed pet owners to stay in their vehicles while receiving services. Organizers highlighted the focus on accessibility, affordability, and community participation throughout the day.
