Report: Lincoln Way School District spent $12,310 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lincoln Way Community High School District 210 was down 6.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Will County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Will County school district spent $13,182 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,310 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 7,110 to 6,673 students over the same period.

Lincoln Way's spending in 2019-20 was 15.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
