City of Crest Hill Civil Service Commission met May 23.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

Commissioner Nick Weiss called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.

Roll Call Present: Commissioner Frank Blaskey, Commissioner Nick Weiss, Assistant City Administrator/Human Resources Director Megan Fulara, Police Chief Ed Clark.

Approval of Minutes Commissioner Weiss moved to approve the minutes of the January 24, 2019 Civil Service Commission meeting. Commissioner Blaskey seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.

New Business

a. Removal of Police Officer candidates from the 2018 Police Officer Eligibility List

Police Chief Ed Clark discussed the various reasons why candidates Brian Blaylock, Maxwell Biesack, Forrest Marcinowski, Aaron Porter, Colin Pickens, Alice Balandis, and Wesley Leckrone should be removed from consideration for employment. Commissioner Weiss moved to remove candidates Brian Blaylock, Maxwell Biesack, Forrest Marcinowski, Aaron Porter, Colin Pickens, Alice Balandis, and Wesley Leckrone from the 2018 Police Officer Eligibility Lists. Commissioner Blaskey seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.

b. Requisition of one candidate from the Police Eligibility List to fill a vacancy in the Department

Commissioner Blaskey moved to requisition one candidate from the Police Eligibility List to fill a vacancy in the Department. Commissioner Weiss seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.

Adjournment Commissioner Blaskey moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Weiss seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved and the meeting adjourned at 8:04 a.m.
