Report: Lockport spent $10,150 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lockport School District 91 is up 8.9 percent from five years ago, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Will County school district spent $9,322 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,150 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 665 to 632.

Lockport's spending in 2017-18 was 23.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
