Valley View Community Unit School District 365U issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.
The Valley View Early Childhood Center is celebrating the extension of their designation as an ExceleRate Illinois Gold Circle of Quality school. This is the second year in a row the VVEC has received this prestigious designation for early learning and development programs.
“Our success starts with the commitment our community has made to the importance of early childhood education,” said Ms. Jacci Brown, Principal of the Valley View Early Childhood Center. “Our staff is being recognized for their dedication to kids. The commitment of our VVEC families is also critical in our continuing designation as a Gold Circle of Quality school.”
The Gold Circle designation is granted by ExceleRate Illinois, the state’s quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development programs. ExceleRate unifies all of the state’s early learning programs under a common set of standards across multiple delivery settings and support programs that integrate and sustain best practices, while publicly recognizing achievement through higher quality.
