Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
Bituminous Surface Treatment (a.k.a. Chip Seal)
Streets to receive BST work this year were Ridge Rd (Hansel to ComEd ROW), Gun Club Rd (south of Rt 6 to Bungalow Rd., Municipal Dr. and Northern IL Dr.
***However, uncooperative weather (not warm enough) has caused this project to be canceled for 2018. The Village intends re-bid this same project next May with work taking place in June or early July.
