The City of Joliet Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee has scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Joliet City Hall, located at 150 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois.
For those unable to attend, comments can be submitted via email prior to the meeting at publiccomment@joliet.gov.
The agenda for the meeting includes the following:
- Call to order
- Roll call
- Approval of the meeting minutes from April 2, 2025
- A period for citizens to be heard on agenda items, with each participant granted up to four minutes to speak. Staff and Commission members do not typically respond during this period. Procedures for public speaking are maintained by the City Clerk, and the Presiding Officer may intervene if conduct disrupts the meeting.
- Old business
- New business, specifically the Comprehensive Plan Branding
- Staff reports
- Member comments
- Public comment on non-agenda items, similarly allowing up to four minutes per speaker. As with agenda items, this is not a question-and-answer session, and disruptive conduct may be managed by the Presiding Officer.
