City of Lockport issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
Recently Completed: The contractor, D Construction, finished up watermain work in the 10th Street intersection last week and the road has been reopened. The watermain on the 900 block of the east side of the street has been completed. Sidewalk vaults from 908 State Street to 922 State Street have been removed. D Construction has started prepping and forming for gravity walls at these locations.
Coming Up: D Construction will continue installing watermain on the east side of the 1000 block of State Street and building gravity walls. Once gravity walls are completed, crews will fall back and install water services on the east side of the 900 block of State Street. D Construction will begin pouring sidewalk on the west side of the 1000 block and the NW corner of State and 9th.
