Report: Lincoln Way spent $13,329 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lincoln Way Community High School District 210 is up 19 percent from five years ago, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Will County school district spent $11,231 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $13,329 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 7346 to 7048.

Lincoln Way's spending in 2016-17 was 3 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
