The Will County Workforce Services Division said its Mobile Workforce Center, which helps county residents develop resumes and cover letters and fill out job applications when seeking employment, will be stopping in six communities in January.
The mobile center is scheduled to visit Bolingbrook, University Park, Plainfield, Wilmington, Frankfort and Mokena, a release on the county's website said.
Residents will be able to use the center's 11 computer stations and free internet access to search for jobs, including through state sponsored online listings like jobs4people.org and Illinois workNet. Those using the center will also be able to access keyboarding lessons and get assistance in their job search.
The release said that during January, the Mobile Workforce Center will at the Fountaindale Public Library in Bolingbrook from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m.on Mondays, the University Park Village Hall from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m.on Tuesdays, the Plainfield Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m.on Wednesdays, the Wilmington Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays, at the Frankfort Public Library District from 9:30 a.m. to noon Fridays and at Mokena Community Public Library from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.
