Linda M. Kois, Devoted Animal Rescuer and Beloved Wife, Dies at 65

Orland Park, IL, Oct. 27, 2025 – Linda M. Kois, nee Hardy, age 65, of Orland Park, passed away. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Church in Mokena and dedicated her time and resources to animal rescue organizations and shelters. Linda cherished her pets and adored spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Thomas E. Kois, sisters Fran Gomez and Joann Chaidez, nieces Jillian Gomez-Nussbaum, Dana Koprowski, Ashley Sawicki, and great-nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Church in Mokena on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Memorial donations can be made to Half-Way Home Animal Rescue in Orland Park.
