Carol Lynn Worth | Lawn Funeral Home - Orland Park

Crest Hill, IL - Carol Lynn Worth, aged 79, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, surrounded by her loving family. A resident of the Carillon Lakes community in Crest Hill for 24 years and formerly of Naperville, Carol was a dedicated Registered Nurse who retired from Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood after over 25 years of service.

Survived by her loving husband, David H. Worth, Carol is remembered by her children Rita (Joseph) Soverino and Patrick (Christine) Worth, sisters Judy Yauch and Faye Belcher, grandchildren Jennifer Soverino, Katlynn Cumpek, Hannah Cumpek, Noah Worth, Joey Soverino, and Danniel Zelaya, and great-grandchildren Mia, Maci, Grayson, Eli, Max, Charli, and Julian, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Patricia Coleman, daughter Renee Grief, and her loyal canine companion Gypsi.

A memorial visitation to honor Carol's life will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, with a celebration of her life beginning at 7:00pm at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, IL.

The Carillon Lakes community and those who knew Carol mourn the loss of a devoted nurse, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Carol Lynn Worth will be remembered for her dedication to nursing, her love for her family, and the care and compassion she showed to all. May her legacy of kindness and service be cherished by all who were fortunate to know her.
