There were 119 American Indian students enrolled in Will County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 11.2% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that American Indian students made up 0.1% of the 101,920 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity.

Among the 29 districts in Will County, Plainfield School District 202 recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 81 students.
