MAYOR BEN DIETZ CALLED TO ORDER THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE WILMINGTON CITY COUNCIL AT 7:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
After the pledge of allegiance, the following answered to Roll Call: Alderpersons Kevin Kirwin, Dennis Vice, Ryan Knight, Jonathan Mietzner, Todd Holmes, and Thomas Smith. Alderperson Ryan Jeffries was absent. The number present constitutes a quorum.
Also present: Attorney Bryan Wellner, City Administrator Jeannine Smith, Finance Director Nancy Gross, Public Works Director James Gretencord, and Deputy City Clerk Joie Ziller.

MAYOR’S REPORT
Mayor Dietz congratulated the Wilmington High School Cheerleaders for this 3rd Place State finish. The new road sign will be installed soon.
Alderperson Knight made a motion and Alderperson Kirwin seconded to approve the Proclamation Honoring the 2025 Wilmington High School Cheerleaders for Finishing 3rd Place at the IHSA Competitive Cheerleading State Finals and Declaring March 19, 2025 Wilmington High School Cheerleaders Day
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6 Knight, Kirwin, Holmes, Mietzner, Vice, Smith
NAYS: 0
ABSENT: 1 Jeffries
