The annual May city-wide garage sale event is set to take place from Thursday, May 15th through Sunday, May 18th, 2025. Interested participants can join the event by downloading the application online or visiting the Clerk's office to apply.
The participation fee is set at $5.00, with various payment methods accepted including cash, check, money order, and debit/credit card, the latter of which incurs a 2.25% processing fee. The deadline for application submissions to ensure inclusion on the listing is Tuesday, May 13th, 2025.
Maps and lists of participating locations will be made available on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025. According to city regulations outlined in Ordinance 1872, any temporary garage sale signs related to the city-wide sale, as outlined in Resolutions 410 and 558, are exempt from placement restrictions, which typically include city property, utility poles, parkways, and private property.
It is expected that all signs will be removed by the Monday following the event’s conclusion. Any signs that remain will be subject to immediate removal and disposal by city authorities.
