Grand Prairie's preschool program has been awarded the Gold Circle of Quality by ExceleRate Illinois, the state's quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development programs. This award acknowledges the high standards met by Grand Prairie in providing early education to young learners in Frankfort.

The Gold Circle of Quality is the highest level in ExceleRate Illinois, recognizing programs that excel in areas such as early learning and development, instructional excellence, staff qualifications, family services, and program administration.

Jennifer Bajda, Director of Special Services, stated: “I am happy to report that our preschool program has received the Gold Circle of Quality designation for the second time. This is really due to the hard work of the preschool team: the teachers, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologists, social worker, and the District’s Special Services coordinator and instructional coach. They are constantly making sure that we are planning for student success. This recognition reflects the dedication and passion our preschool teachers and staff bring to creating an enriching and supportive learning environment for every child.”

The Gold Circle of Quality designation is awarded for a period of three years. More information about ExceleRate Illinois can be found at www.excelerateillinoisproviders.com.
