Third and fourth grade students at Frankfort Square School had the opportunity to participate in an afterschool Coding Club sponsored by Mrs. Cullen. Students began by learning the basics of computer programing using a website called Code.org. This resource provides Computer Science Fundamental course for elementary students using drag and drop blocks which allow them to create drawings and play games. As they advance through the program, students use higher order thinking skills to plan and design their own computer games, dance videos, and so much more! Students had a great time this year advancing their knowledge of computer programing using Code.org!
