Frankie Pretzel, Republican chairman in New Lenox Township, and other Republican candidates for the New Lenox Township Board will be holding their campaign kickoff fundraiser.
The event will be held at Gatto's New Lenox, 1938 E Lincoln Hwy., New Lenox, Illinois, on Thursday, Jan, 28, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The candidates running to be part of the board are Cass Wennlund for supervisor, Dave Medema for clerk, Ron Sly for highway commissioner, Bonnie Hernandez for assessor, Phil Juarez for collector, and Barb Kaupas, Patty Deiters, Marty Boban, and Kathy Hilton for trustees.
The Republican Party says each candidate has experience and a proven record of demonstrating and offering compassionate local service with financial responsibility.
Sponsorships start at $250, registration cost is $35 per person, $50 per couple for food. COVID-19 precautions will be observed.
