City of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
The City of Wilmington is currently under contract to its current hauler Waste Management until April 30, 2021.
All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Service Proposal”.
Sealed proposals must be delivered to the City Administrator, City of Wilmington, 1165 S. Water Street, Wilmington, IL 60481 no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021.
An informational virtual meeting conducted on the zoom platform for registered RFP holders is planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, February 5, 2021 to allow vendors to request additional information regarding these bid specifications. Those contractors who wish to bid must attend this meeting. To register, please contact Joie Ziller, City Administrator at jziller@wilmington-il.com or via phone at 815-476-2175 ext 228. Upon requesting and registering for the RFP, that contact information will be utilized to provide the virtual meeting link. Following receiving the RFP via email, please confirm your receipt and state who the contact for your company shall be in order to become registered.
