Illinois State House District 29 issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
State Rep. Thaddeus Jones, D-Calumet City, issued the following statement in response to Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s State of the State Address:
“I welcome Governor Pritzker’s commitment to continue working with us to build a stronger Illinois for working families and seniors. Over the past year, we passed crucial reforms to expand vocational education and create new jobs by rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure; we provided our local schools $350 million in new funding; and we expanded access to health care.
“There’s more to be done and I look forward to working with all of my colleagues and the governor to continue moving our state forward and expanding opportunity for working families.”
