Administrators in Taft School District 90 earn an average of $100,000 per year, ranking 416th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 0.5% higher than in 2014 and 3.3% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 6.8% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Will County school district enrolled 315 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 158 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
