he City of Joliet Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
City crews continue to treat the roadways. As of 12 Noon approximately 75% of the City streets have been treated. Crews will continue to monitor and treat streets throughout. Air and pavement temperatures are around 30 degrees. We anticipate the storm to last until the early evening hours. As always take care when traveling and yield to snow plows and emergency vehicles.
