City of Lockport issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
City crews are expected to complete leaf pick up next week. As the snow continues to melt over the weekend, remaining leaves may resurface that could have been displaced during snow fall or removal.
Please assist crews as you are able by shoveling leaves to the curb for pick up early next week, weather dependent. Crews are planning to start on the south end of the City and make their way north. This removal is in addition to Waste Management’s Yard Waste program through December 7.
