NAPERVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: From Nicki Anderson: Trust Means Business!

Womanhandshake300

Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 26.

I find that some of the most successful businesses are the ones that have built trust not only amongst their employees but with customers and community. Building trust is vital in the longevity of any business. If I trust a business, I’m committed which translates to loyalty. I’d like to think that your Membership means trust. Further, I hope is that you continue to be involved with the NACC because you trust that we’re working every day on your behalf. Whether it’s programming or meeting with legislators to make sure your business isn’t being squeezed by unnecessary regulation, we care about your business and your success.

Since starting with the Chamber, my team and I have been working on building and earning your trust. It starts with consistency in service. If you need something, our commitment is to respond and do all we can to be a respected partner in your business. I think we’re doing a pretty good job as last month Jessica Hall, Senior Account Executive received 12 Member referrals! That’s a record! Since my time here, we have never received that many Member referrals in a single month. I’m hopeful not only does that continue but that your trust in us continues to breed more referrals.

But it’s not just about getting a referral, it’s about getting a quality referral. I have said for a long time that I don’t care about the quantity of Members, I care about the quality of Members. I want them to WANT to be here. I want them to understand that as an organization, we are committed to their success and in turn they are committed to the success of our organization via support of other Members.

I don’t know about you, but when I trust a company, I am constantly raving about them and willing to promote them. We have so many businesses as Members that I am always referring to not only Members asking, but family and friends and I’m wondering, do you? I’m committed to supporting our Members and my hunch is your committed to doing the same. After all, if the NACC is successful, you are successful.

If there’s a business out there that isn’t currently part of the NACC, we’d welcome the opportunity to connect with them. If it’s a referral from you, it is one that we appreciate and value, and you can be certain, we’ll take good care of them.

Here’s to great Members which translate to a great organization!
