Analysis: Romeoville pays $3.28 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lockport Township Fpd Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.7 percent of the $3,550,641 the Lockport Township Fpd Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.28 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Romeoville contributed $2,721,929 to the fund, which saw a $113,243 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $828,675, or 23.3 percent, in 2016. Another $37 came from other unspecified sources.
