In the hotly contested race to fill eight open seats on the Naperville council, one candidate has taken to social media to sway voters.
Attorney and Vietnam veteran Barry Greenberg, one of more than a dozen Republicans on the primary ballot, took to Facebook for the second time in recent days to state his case for re-election.
The incumbent township clerk recently posted on his page a half-dozen reasons he should be re-elected, including a voter registration drive for seniors, better records management and stronger enforcement of labor reporting laws.
Greenberg’s post comes just days after he held a campaign event at an area golf course, billed on social media as the lone meet-and-greet before today's primary election in which he faces fellow Republican Tom Laz.
