The top 50 highest-paid teachers in Valley View CUSD 365U each earned more than $104,000 in total compensation in 2015, according to the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
The amount reflects teachers' full adjusted pay - a calculation which includes benefits and all pension contributions by taxpayers for each teacher, and reflects a full year of work instead of the nine months teachers actually worked.
Records show that in 2015, Kathleen Gogliotti, a teacher at Oak View Elementary School located at 755 Dalehart Ave., received $152,232.47, the highest full adjusted pay among all teachers in the district.
Included in that amount was $29,051.90 in taxpayer-funded benefits, $11,986.52 in retirement benefits, and $17,065.38 in other benefits.
Overall, the total amount Valley View CUSD 365U spent on its 50 highest-paid teachers in 2015 was $6,035,421.88.
