Aurora Government Operations Committee approves liquor licenses

Aurora Government Operations Committee met Tuesday, June 14.

The government operations committee has jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to intergovernmental relations, traffic and street lighting, elections, legislative matters, the motor vehicle parking system, golf courses, and transportation centers.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

16-00455 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class Q City of Aurora liquor licenses (unofficially related to application from: The Aspen Lane Wine Company LLC. d/b/a Aspen Lane Winery, located at 3682 Prairie Lake Court, Aurora, Illinois.).

A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be held for two weeks. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval as amended to acceptance of the traffic study (information only). The motion carried.

16-00338 A Parking Study on N. Root Street in the 700 Block. Ward 1, Alderman Bohman.
