Joliet, IL – Residents can expect roadwork on Ward Avenue as part of the Spring Creek Phase 1 Water Main Improvement Project. The construction will start on April 4, 2025, and impact the area between Landau Avenue and Henderson Avenue.
The project will necessitate significant traffic control measures, and a full road closure is scheduled for Ward Avenue from April 4. A partial closure will also affect Henderson Avenue, with only southbound local traffic allowed. The work is expected to conclude by May 9, 2025, reopening the road to vehicular traffic. Drivers are advised to consider alternative routes during this time.
