Three District 202 high school students won the top spots and two more won special recognitions in Lewis University’s fifth annual High School Art Invitational.

District 202 in Plainfield, Joliet Junior College and the Plainfield Public Library will co-host a special event to promote family literacy on Friday, October 1, 2021, featuring nationally-renowned “story performer” Chris Fascione.
Plainfield South High School will host its 4th annual Marching Band Invitational on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the school, 7800 Caton Farm Road, Plainfield.
On August 18, 2021, Wallin Oaks Elementary School will both open its doors as District 202’s 18th elementary school and close the loop on a community goal at least 10 years in the making.
