A food and hygiene drive is being organized in response to the end of SNAP benefits and concerns about people hesitating to visit food banks. Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, together with Representative Natalie Manley and Leader Dagmara Avelar, is leading the effort.

A collection box will be placed in the front lobby at City Hall for donations of food and hygiene items. The collected goods will be distributed to those in need within the community.

For more information or questions about the drive, residents can contact the District Office of State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel at 20660 Caton Farm Rd, Unit D, Crest Hill, IL 60403, or call (815) 267-6119.
