Donald C. Matthiesen "Don," 65, of Odell, IL, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2025, with his wife by his side. Survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, and extended family, Don was known for his dedication to truck driving and his pride as an owner/operator. A graduate of Lincoln Way Central High School and a United States Army veteran, Don was devoted to his family and known for his welcoming nature and caring heart. He enjoyed birdwatching, fishing, and sharing stories with his captivating voice. Don will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home on November 1, 2025.
