A motion was made by Mary Schoenheider, seconded by Jim Testin, to approve the April 3, 2025 Tree Advisory Meeting Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: Fonte, Renwick, Schoenheider and Testin
Absent: Satcher and Van Dyke
Abstain: Moon

New Board Member
Eric Moon, New Board Member was introduced to the members. The committee is happy to have him.
Arbor Day 2025 Review
The committee discussed the Arbor Day events at Edna Keith School. The committee will need to pick a school for next year soon because trees will need to be ordered by November.
Inflation Reduction Act Inventory Grant
Ryan Sweeney - administrator of the inventory grant, discussed updates on the inventory and different ways of reaching out to the community.
Growing Contract TMP-8861 Rita Renwick said there was no update at this time.
NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION
Rita received information from open lands regarding grant opportunities for planting trees in the community. Jim Testin said he has been looking at different types of labels available for the trees.
