RECOMMENDATION
Discussion: John Lukancic with City of Joliet will speak about Emergency Procedures for Weather and Special Events as it Relates to Disabled Citizens
Emergency Management Coordinator John Lukancic joins the Committee to discuss the City of Joliet procedures for Emergency events, and the efforts within Will County EMA and City of Joliet Fire Department to collect voluntary registration information for Senior and Disabled to be entered into the CAD system. The City’s CERT team training efforts and mission are also discussed. Discussion: Communications Department Pamphlet Update
Suggestions are made to update the Committee’s Brochure - including updating photos that more accurately represent the deaf community.
Discussion: July Disability Fair Updates
Ongoing preparations are being made for the July 26, 2025 event. The plans and details are discussed at length.
