Crete confirms independence from Aqua Illinois amid water concerns

The Village of Crete has assured residents that its water supply remains unaffected by the recent Aqua Illinois water issue. According to a statement from the village, Crete operates its own independent wells, which are completely separate from the Aqua Illinois system. The village emphasized that "our water remains safe and reliable."
