Rosario Ocampo, Devoted Family Woman and Life of the Party, Passes Away at 73

Rosario Ocampo, age 73, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, in North Aurora, late of Romeoville. Rosario, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was an enthusiastic sports fan and avid supporter of Club America, her favorite Mexican soccer team. She enjoyed activities such as walking, aerobics, and playing softball. Known for her love of music and being the last to leave the dance floor at parties, she was truly the life of the celebration.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Dagoberto Ocampo, children Arthur, Rosalba, and Dagoberto Jr., siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Petra Garcia, and several siblings.

Visitation is scheduled on Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, IL, with a Mass to be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Romeoville on Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

Rosario's legacy of love, joy, and family closeness will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
