Joe Milas | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Joe Milas, 89, passed away peacefully at Edward Hospital in Naperville surrounded by family and his poodle Winnie. Born in Chicago and a resident of Lockport, Joe was a dedicated truck driver for 39 years, retiring from Consolidated Freightways in 1999. Known for his love of vintage cars and his knack for fixing things in his garage, Joe was a loyal family man who cherished moments spent with his loved ones.

Preceded in death by his wife Shirley, one daughter, and several family members, Joe is survived by his five children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday at O'Neil Funeral Home in Lockport, with a funeral service on Saturday officiated by Deacon Lupe Villareal. A Graveside Service will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice. Joe Milas will be remembered for his dedication to family, his love of working with his hands, and his generous spirit.
