Jose O. Reyes, Dedicated Public Servant and Devoted Family Man, Passes Away at 91

Jose O. Reyes, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in the Philippines, Jose dedicated much of his life to serving others, working as a case worker for the Illinois Department of Public Aid and later as a school bus driver. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed tennis, bowling, and fishing. Jose's legacy of kindness, love, and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Jose's life will be held in the coming days, with visitation on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield. Cremation rites will be accorded following the church service.
