REGULAR MEETING of the Committee of the Whole of the City of Lockport, Illinois was held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in the Board Room, 3rd Floor, of the Central Square Building, 222 E. Ninth Street, Lockport, Illinois. Mayor Steve Streit called the Meeting to order at 7:30 pm.

CA-1. Amendment to Existing License Agreement 6806, with the State of Illinois, Department of Natural Resources for an Expanded Use on the I&M Canal for a Playground and Future Pedestrian Bridge Over the Canal
City Administrator, Ben Benson, presented the Staff report. Discussion among the Council ensued.

FN-1. Transfer of Volume Cap in Connection With Private Activity Bond Issues
Finance Director, Lisa Heglund, presented the Staff report. Last year, there were no applications. In a five year lookback, 46 residents were able to participate in the program.

PW-1. Intergovernmental Agreement Between City of Lockport and Homer Township Highway District for Reimbursement of the Resurfacing Cost of the Portion of 163rd Street within City Limits

MOTION BY DESKIN, SECONDED BY MCDONALD TO ADJOURN THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT 7:39 PM AND GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION CLOSED MEETING UNDER SECTIONS 2(C)(1) AND 2(C)(11) OF THE OMA REGARDING EMPLOYMENT AND PENDING OR PROBABLE OR IMMINENT. VOICE VOTE ON THE MOTION.
