Josephine D. Lee | Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Homer Glen

Josephine D. Lee (nee Piazza), aged 95, of Palos Heights and formerly of Chicago Heights, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late James Lee, the late Steve Grahovac, and the late Vince Jacobucci. Josephine was the loving mother of Roxanne (Michael) Zoladz and Colette (Kris) Bachtell. She was the devoted grandmother of Marissa (Brian Sanderson) Zoladz, Zachary (Kristin Rupert) Zoladz, Anna Zoladz, Kyla (Connor Wollensak) Bachtell, and Kelsey Bachtell. Josephine was the adored great-grandmother of Quentin and Joie Sanderson. She was the cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Cecelia Piazza and dear sister of Virginia Tavoletti.

A funeral for Josephine will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, starting at 9:45 a.m. from Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 12641 W. 143rd St, Homer Glen, to St. Francis of Assisi Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Josephine was a long-time volunteer at Palos Hospital Gift Shop for 21 years and a former member of St. Ann Altar and Rosary Society, Palos Heights Seniors, and Oak Hills Women's Club. In lieu of flowers, Masses in Josephine's memory are greatly appreciated.

The Lee Family expressed gratitude towards Josephine's caregivers, Emma and Mel, for their patience, love, and care.
