Cheri Lynn Kuikman Widlacki | Baskerville Funeral Home - Wilmington

Cheri Lynn Kuikman Widlacki, 62, of Essex, Illinois, formerly of Crestwood and Bourbonnais, passed away on April 4, 2025, at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, surrounded by her children. Known as the "neighborhood gas station lady," Cheri's warm smile, wit, and sense of humor brought joy to all. A dedicated worker, she cherished her coworkers and customers. A passionate Green Bay Packers fan, Cheri loved to share the spirit of "Go Pack Go!" with all, adding a fun rivalry with Bears fans. Her welcoming heart, humor, and loving nature touched everyone she met, creating connections and bringing comfort. Survived by her children, grandchildren, brothers, and nieces and nephews, Cheri was preceded in death by her parents and brother. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home, with a graveside service following. A luncheon will be held at Ignite Christian Church after the service. Funeral arrangements are managed by Reeves, Fruland & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory. Those attending are encouraged to wear football attire or Cheri's favorite color purple in her honor. Contributions may be made through the funeral home's flower store for memorial trees or flowers.
