John W. Fahs Jr., aged 88, passed away on March 12, 2025, at his home in Peotone. Born on July 7, 1936, he was a lifelong resident of Peotone. John served in the Army Reserves and worked at Bennett Industries, overseeing projects with great pride. He was a lover of the outdoors, speed boats, and antique tractors, finding joy in simple pleasures like cutting grass and enjoying strawberry ice cream. A proud member of various organizations, he remained devoted to his community and faith.

Visitation will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church on March 17, 2025, followed by a funeral mass and interment at Peotone Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peotone Cemetery Association. Memories can be shared at www.feddehelfrichcrossfh.com.
