Alice A. Lyzak | Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Homer Glen

Homer Glen - Alice A. Lyzak (nee LaBrow), aged 99, formerly of Homewood, peacefully passed away. She was the loving wife of the late William and a devoted mother to Linda (Dennis) Fulton, Jill (Roy) Dell'Aquila, Kathleen (the late Robert) McGurk, and Dr. William (Dr. Judy) Lyzak. Alice was a dear grandmother to Meghan (Matthew Goeke) Fulton, Jessica (Ben) Mahon, Cara Fulton, Tiffany (Nathan Kersey) Dell'Aquila, Keith (Kate Dove) Dell'Aquila, Todd (Andrew Schulte) Dell'Aquila, Andrea (Matthew Berry) Dell'Aquila, Melissa McGurk, and the late Michael McGurk. She was a beloved great-grandmother as well. Alice was the cherished daughter of the late John and Jeanne LaBrow and the dear sister of John (Dione) LaBrow, the late Ruth (the late Carl) Graden, and Emily (the late Milton) Heisterberg. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 6:00 p.m. at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen. Interment will be private.

Alice was an active member of the Homewood Historical Society, a former girl scout troop leader and avid bowler. She also participated in the St. Paul Community Church in Homewood. Alice was an engaged member of the Smith Crossing Senior Facility community.
