Cathy Lee Carlos, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Manhattan, IL after a courageous battle with a prolonged illness. Born on April 27, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA, Cathy's spirited nature and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her during her 75 years on earth.

Cathy shared a lasting bond with her cherished husband, Mike, affectionately known as "M.C.," throughout their 33-year companionship, 17 years of which were as husband and wife. Their journey was marked by shared laughter, mutual dreams, and the everyday joys of family life. Cathy's legacy endures through her children Kim Wolf, Karrie (Brian) Kenney, Kelly Wolf, Krissi Wolf, Mike's children Amy (Jeff) Manhart, and James (Nikki) Carlos. Cathy's seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren brought her continuous pride and delight.

Her life was enriched by her close relationships with her siblings, Charles Davis, Patti (Steve) Daugherty, Jim (Denise) Davis, Jeff Davis, Randy Davis, and Lois (Bryan) Stone, as well as her siblings-in-law, Peggy (Rick) Walsh, Sherri (Mike) Magnuson, Phil (Patsy) Carlos, Dennis (Mari) Carlos, and her nieces and nephews whom she held dear.

Cathy was welcomed into Heaven by her parents Charles and Lois Davis, her parents-in-law Gene and Mary Carlos, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Buzz and Janice Carlos.

Cathy's creativity shone through her work as a hairstylist, where she brought beauty into the lives of others daily. She also lent her talents to General Electric for several years. She will be remembered in the local community for her welcoming presence at Mr. B's in Elwood and Bit O'Blarney in Manhattan.

Her gardening skills reflected her nurturing spirit, while her culinary expertise delighted many. Cathy's zest for life led her to winter in Fort Myers, Florida, for over 25 years and to enjoy the thrills of trips to Las Vegas.

Although Cathy's passing leaves a void, her vibrant spirit will continue to inspire and guide her loved ones. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her unwavering kindness, resilient strength, and the joy she brought to those around her.

In honoring Cathy's wishes, no services will be held, and cremation has been respectfully arranged.

Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in Manhattan, IL, is handling the arrangements.
