Important information regarding storm damage:
If there are any trees impacting homes or garages, please call the city’s Roadways Division at 815.724.3650 to report it. The city is not aware of all the damage at this time and needs a report so a work crew can be assigned.
If there are any electrical wires down or trees on wires, please call ComEd at 1.800.334.7661. Again, please do not assume the utility company is aware of the situation.
If residents hire a private contractor to remove a tree from their yard, it is expected that the tree will be taken off the property and not left on the parkway. Please contact the city if you have questions.
