Residents of Will County are encouraged to fill out a voluntary survey if they experienced damage from recent storms. The survey, provided by the Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), aims to help officials collect data and understand the extent of the damages.

Damage assessment teams will be present throughout Will County on Friday, July 19th, Saturday, July 20th, and Sunday, July 21st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to conduct exterior damage assessments of structures. They may request to speak with homeowners or residents but will not enter homes for interior assessments.

The EMA emphasized that reporting damages through this survey is voluntary and does not replace the need to report damages to insurance companies. Additionally, it does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.

Residents can access the survey via the following link: https://www.willcountyema.org/
